This historical meeting will be held in Beijing, China, October 10-12, 2008 and hosted by the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing in conjunction with the celebration of its 50th Anniversary. 

The First World Congress for Plastic Surgeons of Chinese Descent will draw many talented Plastic Surgeons of Chinese decent from China, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Europe, North America, and other parts of the world.  This is the first ever gathering like this in the history of Plastic Surgery and would have a profound impact on Plastic Surgeons of Chinese decent for generations. The meeting itself will provide a unique opportunity for Plastic Surgeons of Chinese decent to showcase their contributions and achievements to Plastic Surgery with pride of our culture and heritage. It will also provide an opportunity to exchange scientific knowledge and to promote friendship and ties among us.
